TOEFL FAQs
How long is the TOEFL score valid?
The TOEFL score is valid for 2 years from the date of your test. Most universities require your scores to be sent directly from ETS electronically.
TOEFL vs. IELTS – Which one should I take?
TOEFL is widely preferred by US universities and is entirely computer-based with a focus on academic English. IELTS is preferred in UK/Australia/Canada and offers a paper-based option. However, both are globally accepted now.
How much time do I need to prepare?
Generally, 4-8 weeks is sufficient if your English foundation is strong. The key is to familiarize yourself with the specific format of the Integrated tasks, which is unique to TOEFL.
