When should I purchase OSHC?
You must purchase OSHC before you apply for your student visa. You will need to provide proof of your policy (the policy certificate) with your visa application.
Does OSHC cover dental and optical?
Basic OSHC usually does not cover dental, optical, or physiotherapy (“Extras”). You can purchase “Extras” cover separately from your OSHC provider for an additional cost if you need these services.
What if I am from Belgium, Norway, or Sweden?
Due to Reciprocal Health Care Agreements (RHCA), some students from Belgium, Norway, and Sweden may not need OSHC. Check with our counsellors to confirm your specific requirements.
